Past and future
Mr. Alojzije Šestan is the original idea founder of the Šestan-Busch success story.
The idea was to start production of high-end anti-ballistic helmets for military use within the production facility that was supposed to be established in Prelog, Croatia. So, after 25 years of independent entrepreneurial experience in various businesses and projects, Mr. Šestan joined forces with German entrepreneur and innovator Mr. Egon Busch, and in 1996 the company Šestan-Busch d.o.o. was established.
Since its inception in 1996, ŠESTAN-BUSCH has followed in its quality policies, the basic principles passed down by its owners (the ŠESTAN family from Croatia and the BUSCH family from Germany), which demand and require constant monitoring and compliance with all Global quality standards in the production of safety equipment, corporate and social responsibility in business, and production of products of the highest quality that protect the lives and health of end users.
Today, Šestan-Busch is the brand name to which over 2.5 million users from the military, police, civil protection and other security services have given the confidence to protect their health and lives. Our core mission is therefore inwrought into each of our products. Our future direction is oriented towards the new security challenges and threats to the health and life of users, women and men alike.
